We are excited to share with you our school's video submission to the Saskatchewan Teacher's Federation #thestudentproject 2018 which highlights the great things that are happening in and around our wonderful school.  This submission enters us in a chance to win up to $10,000 for our school to spend on a variety of learning projects, tools, and resources to support the academic, art, and sport ventures that our students require.

Good news comes to those who play music at Mironuck…École Elsie Mironuck Community School was awarded a $10,000 MusiCounts grant!  The MusiCounts Band Aid program provides musical instruments to schools whose music programs are in need of instruments to ensure their sustained growth.

On January 30^th , students arrived with flowers, and huge card signed by all the staff at École Elsie Mironuck Community School for Elsie on her 94^th birthday. 

They presented her with a program of dance: Cha Cha Cha-ing to the hit song “Havanna”, swinging to an old time tune, and then waltzing with the seniors to Satchmo’s “It’s a Wonderful World”.   They also included a Franglais song titled “A Little French Song” by Carla Bruni to let Elsie and her friends know that whenever they want a little pick-me-up, they need only sing a little French song!
